Lady Lakers Volleyball Club Board Meeting
Meeting Date: April 3, 2024
Meeting Called to Order: 6:15 PM

Treasurer’s Report
• January check from the Moose is missing. Not sure of the address it was sent to. Matti is in contact with the Moose to get a replacement check.
• $3106.43 checkbook balance.
• 2 coaches requested and were paid through Duluth.
• 3 shirts at $20 each came out of sales donation from Hasbargen Customs.

Old Business
Change of Banks
• Move will not occur until season is over.
Grievance Procedure
• Thank you to Courtney, policy was written and will be added to the website.
• Policy will also be mentioned in the handbook.
• Email to be sent to the club stating the policy and a recommendation they review the policy from the website.
New Business
Ditch Picking
• Chris P reached out to the county and confirmed we are on the list for miles. Miles are usually distributed in May. At that point miles will be distributed to the team.
• Each team can determine how they complete their picking.
Additional Tournaments
• Roseau
o May 15th for grades 4th-6th
• Kittson County Central
o June 11th for 12u and 16u
o June 12th for 14u and 18u
o June 13th for 11u
• Tournaments are open to any teams.
• Coaches time will be volunteer.
• If teams enter it will not be as LLVC. Jerseys will not be provided.
• 13s team has been invited to play Sunday at Monticello, free of charge.
o Club can’t afford to cover coaching fees or hotel room.
o Justin has generously volunteered is time and will cover his hotel.
o All players have agreed to play.
End of Season Party
• Kenny Lanes was contacted.
o Hours are 11-8 Tue-Sat. Group rental is $25 per lane per hour. Or all lanes $300 for 2 hours. • After looking at school calendar it was decided to hold the wrap party in Fargo. o Party will be in banquet room at host hotel, Country Inn and Suites.
o Wendy will contact hotel to confirm size will meet a large group.
o Team Managers will be in charge of a plan for food and any games.
• Awards will be needed for certificates. Wendy will request info from coaches via Team Reach
Senior Awards
• Senior awards will be a gift card to Lululemon. Matti will purchase.
Summer Meetings
• We will rewrite handbook and by-laws, for approval at annual meeting.
• We will present a Google form with questions regarding the season and desires for the future o Discussion held regarding the questions.
